Very elegant and restful in a beautiful scenic location. We enjoyed the formal French dinner and the onsen bath. Surrounding area is scenic with many beauty spots to visit.

This place has a lot of character and very comfortable and cozy. The dining area is overall a great place to unwind, watch a little tv. Dinner was wonderful and breakfast was good. There’s an onsen hotel a couple minutes walk from the guesthouse where for 500 yen you can try the indoor and outdoor onsen. This is a backpackers guesthouse and for what it is, I had a great experience
