The hotel is great - in a perfect location just a few minutes walk from the center, however, in a quiet area. The staff is super polite and helpful and the room we were in was great as well - modern, clean, cozy and had everything that would be needed for a pleasant stay.

Rialto Bridge

This ridge outside Agrigento is an archaeological treasure trove and one of the world’s most well-preserved collections of Ancient Greek architecture. In one area, you can wander between the stunning Temple of Concordia—built in the 5th century BC—the ancient Temple of Vulcan, and the Temple of Olympian Zeus that was sacked by the Carthaginians in 406 BC.

We always go to Venice off season but even so people tend to congregate around the Rialto....there is so much more to Venice than this tourist draw. Never stay in the area, don't eat in the area and hit all the back streets to discover the magic of this city.

Always crowded, so we just stood to the side and watched. Watched the boats, the people, the hussle and bussle. We were in awe over so many things. Saw a gal dressed like a young version of Cruella De Vil last time and her look was amazing!

It was very crowded in the off season.

It was very crowded in the off season. I can't even imagine the crowds in the high season. The main canal under the Rialto Bridge is the highway with all goods and services moving through. It isn't the serene paintings that you typically see. Rather it is highly skilled captains and gondoliers that are narrowly passing one another.

No accessible way for handicap people to cross the bridge to get to the other side. Only 4 bridges in the entire place are accessible. I had a very difficult time getting across with my walker. Imagine a person in a wheelchair bound that cannot walk. Also the streets are little blocks that are dangerous when you walk. That's the way things roll in Venice by boat and by walking.

Stay away during crowded hours, and keep an eye out for pickpockets. But be sure to see it, but go early in the morning or in the evening -- it's a centrally important feature to the history and culture of this great city.

Gorgeous hotel in a gorgeous location, just steps from the hordes crossing the Rialto Bridge as well as the more pleasant bustle of the Fish Market and the quiet contemplative Jewish Quarter. The hotel's breakfast was sumptuous and well-served, and the staff - particularly Concierge Maria - was friendly, helpful, and punctual. My wife and I cannot imagine a finer hotel experience ... and when you walk out the front door, there you are on the banks of the Grande Canal, in magical Venice!

The property was exceptionally clean, well equipped, and fabulous location. The owner bent over backwards to make us stay and feel like home. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone who would like to stay a little bit away from the crowds. It was a 10 minute walk to the Rialto bridge for the 12 to San Marco, but we were at home. Definitely stay here once again once again thank you Maria.

We really enjoyed our stay here! Marco, at the front desk, was so helpful and full of information. The hotel location was so perfect being along the Grand Canal and close to the beautiful Rialto Bridge. The first evening we took a romantic sunset gondola ride from a dock just around the corner from the hotel. Inside, the hotel was elegant and nostalgic, and our room was very spacious. We would definitely stay here again.

The close proximity of our hotel to the Rialto Bridge! Also, the star had arranged a towel heart and rose petals on our bed because it was our honeymoon! Nice touch! We were also able to buy a bottle of Prosecco (and 2 glasses) and take it to the upstairs patio to enjoy the view!

Location is great, very close to Rialto bridge and good eateries. It's 5mins from the Rialto vaporetto station. Hotel breakfast was good and rooms were beautiful. Good AC and very comfortable mattress and pillows. I was able to find the hotel using google maps and also because i had seen a picture of the courtyard and the hotel on booking.com earlier, but you can always call the reception for directions since the narrow streets of Venice feels like a maze when you first arrive there but it gets better after you walkaround a bit .

The apartment was very roomy and the two bedrooms were a great size especially compared to other hotel room we stayed in throughout Europe. The host gave great directions and someone met us at Rialto boat stop and took us to the apartment. She went over everything about the apartment and gave suggestion of things to do and restaurants. The apartment is a 2 to 5 min walk to canal and Rialto bridge and 7 min from San Marco square. Best location! Highly recommend this place.
