Our room was upgraded, and we also got a pleasant surprise with welcome drink. The staff on the reception was very polite and ready to help in any moment. The barmen Franchesco was spectacular.

Hotel Lancaster is set in a central but tranquil area of Milan, just a 15-minute walk from the city centre. Each room is air conditioned and has a flat-screen TV with satellite channels.

Great design, exceptional terrace, very comfortable room with all the amenities you would expect. location is fine near metro and tram. Very courteous and helpful staff plus housekeeping twice daily. My room had a great city view. I liked the location near Sempiole park. The 12/14 tram goes to Duomo in 15 minutes and the no. 2 goes all the way to Porta Genova in maybe 25 minutes. Unfortunately we couldn’t stay longer. Many thanks to all of the staff who were most accommodating (and noticing it was my partner’s birthday), we will return.
