Beautiful boutique hotel in a Georgian building, that is very well kept. They added all these nice touches with the music playing from the radio in the room and being able to play records from the record player in the room. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was lovely. The location is just next to the Pulteney bridge, but it’s just outside of the main city centre, so it’s a little quieter.

Wonderful hotel right in the centre of Bath's Royal Crescent. The staff were perfect, helpful and attentive. Many small details marked the stay, which shows the quality of the establishment (magnificent building, splendid interior). The room we stayed in (we had an upgrade) was on the back side of the hotel and had its own little terrace; it was very large with a bedroom area, a ‘sitting’ room, a very large bathroom and an entrance hall. We had no direct neighbours, so the room was very, very quiet. The breakfast was excellent (small buffet, and menu offering different types from full English to eggs benedict, and a vegetarian menu). The spa was very pleasant (too bad the sauna wasn't working, but the hammam, bubble bath and swimming pool were). We went there often and there were never more than 5 of us in the spa. We had also booked a treatment (‘work it out’ massage), which was absolutely brilliant (many thanks to Meg)!

We liked everything about the room. Having celiac disease I was blown away by the variety offered in the breakfast buffet and the fact the staff were knowledgeable and helpful in making items in the back kitchen for me so the food would be safe from cross-contaminating. The location was about an easy ten minute walk from the Bath Spa train station and a safe location. We were able to walk to all touristy areas of Bath and return to the quietness of the hotel in the evening.

Beautiful property in a great location, only a short walk from Bath Spa train station. Brigitte was very welcoming and allowed us to drop our bags off early to save carrying them around. Room was lovely, very clean and had everything you could want from a stay including robes and slippers. The little touches like the honesty bar, sleep kits and robes were excellent.
