Wenshu Monastery
Rebuilt in 1697, the original monastery fell victim to the Ming dynasty war, with its current reconstruction standing as the best-preserved Buddhist temple in Chengdu. Still a place of local worship, the temple house many cultural relics such as precious paintings, 300 Buddha statues and sutras written in the blood of Chan masters’ tongues.

The place Is clean, confortable and located close to the Wenshu Monastery. The manager Helena and all the staff were very helpful and friendly. I felt immediately at home there.
