I rarely give a 10 for a hotel but this one is really exceptional. It looks so nice and rustic, the room was huge, comfy and with a nice view. It was very warm inside, spotless clean, great breakfast, and the staff very very kind. The location is just perfect, away from the main road noise, just perfect for a family with kids. And to finish off, the price was a bargain considering all of the above. Good job Gurko team, you really done it.

The room was spacious with a very comfortable bed. We had a cute balcony with a view to the pool and the main fortress in town- Tsarevets. Extremely nice and friendly staff, happy to help with everything. The pool was clean and the bar beside it is a definite bonus! Breakfast was also good, we found a few different things on both mornings we spent there. A lot of nature and beautiful views all around the hotel. Location for us was perfect, as it is not inside the crazy center and at the same time very close to just walk there, however, if you do not feel fully safe on an empty road in the evening, you maybe should consider taking a cab.

My room was an oasis of sophistication and comfort. The attention to detail in the decor was astounding, combining modern aesthetics with timeless elegance. The plush bed, adorned with high-quality linens, provided a cocoon of comfort, and the thoughtful touches in the room showcased the hotel's commitment to excellence. The view from my window was a picturesque glimpse into the city’s heart. The breakfast was filled with delightful surprises that brought me back to my European roots. Each dish artfully presented and only locally sourced. The hotel's amenities were a testament to its boutique charm. The massage was a haven for relaxation, offering personalized massage treatments that left me feeling rejuvenated and pampered. The public hangout area downstairs provided a perfect place to either work or unwind with a good book and a great glass of some of the finest wine in all of Bulgaria.     Very large impressive site situated sprawling across the...

    Very large impressive site situated sprawling across the hillside, limited facilities inside one drinks machine so take plenty to drink as its hot and dry and a lot of walking to get upto the chapel on the top. Worth it for the amazing murals covering the walls and ceiling. I couldn't walk around the rest of the site too much for me and apart form the chapel I'd probably have been just as well to take photos from the bottom.

    Location of the hotel is very close to the Tsarevets Fortress. We can reach the entrance in 2 minutes by foot. It's also close to the centre where you can find many restaurants. Some of the rooms have the view of the fortress. Limited free parking spaces are available in front of the hotel which can be used by both the public and hotel guests. There is also an underground parking with 5-6 spaces for hotel guests.

    Wonderful stay! The apartment is in a great location, close to Tsarevets Fortress, Gurko Street, and good restaurants. It’s very clean and fully equipped with everything we needed. Parking was easy and convenient, and check-in was smooth. Great host and excellent facilitie. I highly recommend!

    Clean, well equipped apt. The host kindly arranged a garage for our car as parking near the hotel was quite problematic. It is a good place for a short stop and not bad for tourism. It is located at walking distance 15 min. to the center and 40 min to Tsarevets fortress remains. Most of the road is more or less flat not like many offered apts. located high of the hills.

    Unfortunately, we only stayed one night in this wonderful place. The hotel is perfectly located, just a 2-minute walk from Tsarevets Fortress and no more than 10 minutes to the city center. It’s an excellent choice for tourists interested in history, nightlife, or simply enjoying long walks through the charming streets and cozy restaurants. The room was spacious, the bathroom large and modern, and the rooftop terrace offers a breathtaking view over the city. I’ll definitely come back to this hotel, and hopefully very soon!

    We truly enjoyed our three-night stay — everything was wonderful! Last night, we even caught a glimpse of the light show at the Tsarevets Fortress from the balcony, which was such a nice surprise. The apartment was beautifully arranged and incredibly comfortable — you’ve thought of so many thoughtful little details that my friends especially appreciated. Thank you again for everything, especially for helping us arrange the taxi. It made our departure so much easier. We’re really grateful for your hospitality!

    Cosy, very tastefully renovated apartment with views of Tsarevets Fortress and across the city. This property had the most character of any we have ever stayed in - great interiors! Beds were comfortable and kitchen well-stocked. There is a great sectioned-off shower in the bathroom, which we have not often found in Bulgaria. Our host was friendly and communicative, and sent us information about the city and recommended restaurants. Having the use of the (extremely quiet!) washing machine meant a lot to us on our tour of Bulgaria.

    The apartment block has ample roadside parking which is free of charge. The apartment block is located a little further away from the Old Town than some other accommodation but is therefore much closer to Tsarevets Fortress. There are many eateries immediatley local and the main town is only a 15 minute walk. The room was clean and the most modern of all our accommodation in Bulgaria. Access to the property was easy with staff contactable by phone before we arrived.

    The owner is a very positive and kind person! She helped us and gave us tips on where to go. Very cozy apartment with a wonderful view from the window to the Tsarevets fortress and the mountains. There is a coffee machine and a kettle, you can drink coffee with a beautiful view! The shower cabin is separated from the toilet, which is rare in Bulgaria. Very nicely decorated interior. The house is located a minute walk from a shop, a bar and a good coffee shop
