Sydney Harbour

Where better to see the Sydney sights than from the water? Hop onto a harbour ferry to get a whole new angle on the city’s iconic shoreline. The 20-minute trip from Circular Quay to Darling Harbour is a shortcut to close-up views of the Harbour Bridge and Opera House, while the historic Manly Ferry cruises out to the stylish northern suburbs.

I have travelled all over the world and there is no harbor like ours! It is stunning and nothing as iconic as the Sydney Opera House or the Sydney Harbor Bridge! Visit Fort Denison, Shark Island or one of the many other scenic stops or just have a ferry ride. Gorgeous.

So many places to go to by ferry which run very frequently. If you are fortunate to be a pensioner you can travel all day for only $2.50 on trains, buses, ferries and light rail as well. You can even go to the Blue Mountains too for that cost.

Beautiful - Try late night cruise on an ordinary and cheap public ferry. It will take you around the harbour multiple stops and return you back to your starting point. Great sight-seeing at a fraction of the cost of touristic setups. And if any place takes your fancy jump off and rejoin the ferry later.

MY tip is: GO to Sydney Harbour!

MY tip is: GO to Sydney Harbour! It is beautiful and friendly and all the ferries coming and going are so delightful to watch and ride! We have been to Sydney 3 times (from USA) and we always have a great time! If you can, climb to top of bridge - and it was a climb for me (55years old) with my 21 year old and we both loved it! (one more step and I wouldn't have made it but there was not one more step!!)

The place was soo close to the Sydney CBD…walking distance over the Sydney Harbour Bridge, very close to the ferry terminal and Circular Quay. Sue was soo friendly and helpful. She’s a warm generous host and looked after us so well. The flat had everything we needed. The bed was extremely comfy. The flat and all appliances were very clean. We loved our stay there and highly recommend it. Thank you Sue 🙏🏼

What a fantastic find! This hotel was in a nice quiet part of Millers Point, it it was easy to get to (just up the stairs from Barangaroo Metro Station) and had an amazing view of Sydney Harbour Bridge and across Barangaroo Point. Oh - do yourself a favour and check out the rooftop bar for even more amazing views. The staff (particularly the young fellow that was on when we got there) were friendly and great at their jobs. The room was nice. Very comfy and clean. Loved the decor throughout too.

The views across Sydney Harbour were absolutely stunning. Awesome outdoor swimming pool w/ a bar on the deck nearby for a Spritz & a Mojito. Place isn’t cheap (obviously) but you certainly get what you pay for. One of the World’s Top 50 Cocktail Bars (actually “Maybe Sammy”) is straight across the road (backdoor) on Harrington St.
