Make a day of it. Pack a lunch. Comphy shoes. Hats. Sun screen. Sensible cloths as you will be walking around. Getting on and off the bus and watching the animals in there home. Kids will have a lots of fun but if they have little legs plan for them to get tired. A pram or the like might be a good idea. Same if you are not very fit you need to do this zoo at your pace. Instead we walked across the road to big w for LEGO and books and never left the hotel. My son (11 yo) stayed in and had room service and relaxed. The rooms were extremely spacious and comfortable. Very comfortable and clean rooms, got a great night sleep as it was very peaceful. Staff were lovely and friendly. The pool area is well maintained and the pool itself was perfect temperature for a swim. The showers have great pressure and heat up quick. We only stayed the 1 night but it was a great little getaway and brilliant first hotel experience for the kids. This will be our family holiday spot in Murray Bridge.
