Everything was great! Our hosts, Tomaz and Spela, were wonderful, very hospitable, accommodating about meal times, and informative about hikes in the area. Our chef, Erik, created amazingly delicious and beautifully presented dishes, from soups to main dishes to desserts, for our big group of 10 (a family reunion). The farm house we staying in was very clean and pleasant with beautiful mountain and vegetation views.

Our host greeted us with genuine warmth, and that friendly welcome set the tone for the whole stay. The chalet itself is a gem – spacious, beautifully furnished, with well equipped kitchen. Our private sauna and jacuzzi became the perfect reward after a day of hiking. One of the loveliest surprises was the hideaway (smaller room) at the top of the chalet – clearly designed with kids in mind. Ours claimed it as their “kingdom” within minutes and spent hours up there in their own world. The surroundings are simply breathtaking. We rented a bike to explore the panorama and let the kids roam safely in the open space around the chalet. Just sitting on the terrace, soaking in the mountains and fresh air, felt like the ultimate reward. We would love to come back again in the future.

Some of the units include a satellite flat-screen TV, a fully equipped kitchen with a microwave, and a private bathroom with a bidet and a hair dryer. At the guest house, the units are equipped with bed linen and towels. The property was in an ideal location for hikes and exploring. The food prepared here was amazing and definitely a highlight of our stay here. The staff as well were lovely and gave us good recommendations for what to do in the area. There is also information in the rooms provided showing the numerous activities you can get up to in the area.
