The place is beautiful (both the buildings and surrounding), and the location is perfect (about 15 min walk to the center of Chacahua, and right in front of the beach which was very beautiful, and almost empty). There was an issue with our bungalow, but the staff was very helpful and understanding, and we ended up changing rooms in stead. The rooms were beautiful, and definitely made up for the work/inconvenience of moving places. The common areas are great, and have a very welcoming, warm and calm vibe. Best recommendations from us!

Situé à Santa María Colotepec, le Samora Luxury Resort possède un restaurant, une piscine extérieure, une salle de sport et un bar. Il dispose d'une plage privée, d'un salon commun et d'un jardin. C'est un endroit idyllique avec une piscine de rêve. C'est le plus bel hôtel que nous connaissions. Cette partie de la côte Pacifique du Mexique est un véritable paradis. Le personnel est chaleureux et très attentionné. Les repas sont excellents.

Very quiet and relaxing. On top of a hilll. One side of hotel with garden and pool overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The other side overlooking the smalll bay/beach in the quiet fishing village of Puerto Angel. We had a family room for 5. Plenty of space and very comfortable and clean. 5 minute walk on back path to village and swimming beach. Village is not built up for mass tourism. Nice and quiet and very laidback. Friendly and we felt safe walking at night. Really good and helpful communication with hotel owner Mauricio before and during our stay. He helped organize a boat and snorkelling trip where we saw turtles. Good breakfast with a good selection. A fridge available in kitchen. One of our favorite hotels in Mexico. We could have stayed longer than 3 nights.

It was an absolutely amazing stay. The hotel is located on the beach in a very safe area. The staff in the hotel restaurant was amazing - very attentive and always willing to help. I would like to send a special thank you to Juan, Jose, Francisco, Ana, Itzel, Isabel who created an amazing welcoming atmosphere there. The food was good as well. And cocktails =) You can also walk to another hotel of the same chain and visit evening show there. This year a very good dancing group performs there. And we were very excited watching them. It was definitely a professional level not an amateur one. The hotel by itself is very new and modern. You can also make amazing pictures because it's located on hill near the coastline. We'll definitely return back.

Situé à Puerto Escondido, l’hébergement Casa Real Quetzalcóatl propose une piscine extérieure ouverte toute l'année, une salle de sport et un bain à remous. Héctor is super accommodating as a host. The casita is on his property but very private. It has a well-appointed kitchen with a fridge, Toaster oven and two-burner gas stove top. The bedroom and bath are upstairs with a great king-size bed and nice linens. There are fans on both levels and A/C on the top level. Simply opening the windows at night and using the fans is our favorite way to sleep. Lots of windows with screens throughout the casita. The shower has hot water - which is not a given in rural Oaxaca. Hector also provided us with a 5 gallon bottle of water. There is a coffee pot and an Oster blender conveniently located on the counter. My husband swam in the pool outside our room daily. It’s cold and refreshing.
