What an amazing hotel absolutely beautiful comfortable and the lady on reception and who took us to our room and served breakfast was just brilliant ! The breakfast was top notch and the bar next door to us was great we watched the Portugal match and we were made to feel so welcome by the bar man there ! Friendliness of the staff from reception, house-keeping and restaurant staff. We have stayed here a number of times over the years and the outdoor terrace with seating, sun loungers and outdoor pool is the perfect area to relax. We visit Viana Do Castelo for family and Axis is in a great location to visit all the areas we need to which are all within walking distance. A lovely hotel.
