Everything was perfect. we extended our accomodation because of good service, friendly staff, all facilities, delicious foods etc. Resort is cleanest place in Bali. shuttle services to Ubud center,, balinese dance shows, pool, bath at garden, Spa etc are some of facilities. “I’ll be back !” Great setting, peaceful and surrounded by lush tropical gardens and luxurious native vegetation. The ‘private’ pool is a long way down the hill with many stairs and the pool overlooks a charming flowing river. The sound of the birds and nature in general was so very soothing and relaxing! The architecture - Joglo house design and wooden structure combined with the rustic nature of the accommodation ticked all the boxes for me!! .., oh and Made and his team are so friendly, accommodating and professional. Rather than plastic bottles, a 25 litre mineral water bottle was provided- making it great for refills and doing their bit to cut down on plastic rubbish. A small kitchen with small stove and refrigerator was so handy - as was the supplied Bali Kope. (No Nescafe instant here!). Nothing like having a few morning Bali kope’s while overlooking the river valley and the cool winter mountain mists rising from the valley floor and then knocking back copious Bintangs in the afternoon. The funky outside bathroom made of glass bottle walls was way cool. Also, the owner - Made will order takeaway and delivery. Just too easy. Can’t make enough positive comments about our stay. The only disappointment was not having booked to stay longer.

We loved our stay with Kadek and his family. We really enjoyed the room. It was so relaxing. Staying at this traditional village was like being back in old Bali. Very friendly people. Kadek and his wife cooked for us. They made us rice which was harvested the day before! Very special!!

Everything about the resort is exceptional! The location, the villas, the people and staff, the food and the spa. It was a truly relaxing experience in the middle of nowhere. Would definitely visit again. Although it's a bit expensive - I don't mind paying for the kind of service and facilities and the experience that we get. Don't miss out on the free daily activities - like morning yoga, canang making, free afternoon tea by the pool side along with the chit-chat with yoga masters Buddha and Gusti. Do try out the jacuzzi and the sauna at the spa - it's free as well. Also recommend to try the sejati massage at the spa. Highly recommended!
