There's almost too much to list. The atmosphere was magic, like stepping back in time but in the most mesmerising way. We had such fun together looking at all of the wonderfully put together ornaments and features inside the cabin, some very beautiful and interesting objects to take in. The Cabin itself just emanates warmth and love, it's been beautifully constructed with repurposed materials that have been carefully restored to make a very sturdy, functional space ideal for a quiet couples getaway. The kitchen was very well equipped but small and cosy enough to almost feel like you were at home and intuitively knew where things were. The bed was very comfortable, quite a snug little space so if you don't feel the need for lots of excess room and prioritise an almost adventurous, hideaway type feeling then it's perfect. We both slept very well and thoroughly enjoyed the patter of rain on the window in the morning. The view from the cabin from any angle is really special, care has been taken to craft a cottage style garden with part dedicated to growing vegetables, which we were kindly offered. Despite being late summer there was a surprising amount of blooms. The sauna was very pleasing and so was the jacuzzi, both private and we noted how even the lighting in the jacuzzi area has been given thought. Karen and Alan are incredible hosts and you'd be a fool not to stay there at least once. It will be hard to top our stay there, I only wish I had booked another night!!

Wonderful stay at Rose Lodge. Just the one night after a trip to Whitstable. Lodge was wonderfully smart and modern. Clean and comfortable. Kids loved the hot tub, which was a real treat. Some lovely touches, including the gift hamper in the kitchen, and thoughtful notes about how to use the property. Thanks for a great stay.

This place is an amazing find , the owners , their family are the best hosts we’ve had seen using booking.com , this absolutely amazing property has everything you need in the cottage , the bed was very comfortable, the hot tub kept my daughter occupied, the surrounding fields and gardens were great for walking my dog , super clean and tidy , kids loved the chickens, hens , geese and the beautiful fish pond and a big thank you to the lovely Reynolds farm family for my daughters birthday present. Will definitely be back but in the biggest cottage next time .

I loved the location, so peaceful and quiet. The hot tub/jacuzzi was so relaxing in the sunshine. The beds were comfortable and the swan folded towels was a lovely touch. It had all the amenities that was needed for a lovely break away and I will definitely return one day.

very homey, comfortable and decorated with style. love the colours and fabrics. Some might expect a tv in the room but we have nice views from the top floor. You can take a relaxing bath if you like or relax in the reception room on the sofas. We had a quick snack but with fresh sourdough bread, yummy.

    There is so much space at this property, well decorated and very clean and homely. Beds are very comfortable and you have all the facilities you could possibly need to have a relaxed and enjoyable stay. Hot tub was lovely and felt very private.

    What an incredible find. Tucked away behind the high street in Whitstable, a courtyard with private parking. Fantastic 2 bedroom apartment in a converted school house. 2 double beds, on-suite shower/toilet room as well as a main bathroom (with a bath) plus modern kitchen / lounge /dining area. Literally a few minutes walk to the shops, the pubs, cafes, beach, harbour, castle, etc. Did I mention the Hot Tub ? This was definitely a winner, probably the best part of the holiday !
