Where do I begin? I have stayed at many hotels in the past, but the service I was provided at the Grand Duka is honestly the best! This hotel ticks every box! Location-wise wise it is so close to everything! The Beach, Nightlife, Bars, & Restaurants were walking distance away (cabs to and from the hotel and bars were relatively cheap as well). The hotel is absolutely beautiful, it's modern, minimalistic, with a neutral tone that flows through the property. Rooms are just as impressive, they were so clean, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was great too- so many people asked me where I was staying! The spa & wellness centre was well-kept and very clean! All of the gym equipment worked properly, and they had a variety of machines to choose from. The spa facilities were a great way to relax (I spent a lot of time in there!) The restaurant and bar were great, and the breakfast menu had lots of variety to choose from! The dinner options were well-made and delicious! The bar and bar staff were great, providing great customer service & recommending drinks (my favourite was the Aperol Spritz!) The staff are some of the friendliest and helpful people I have come across when staying at a hotel - they greeted us with a smile every day, they made excursion recommendations for us to make the most of our holiday, and they would always ask if there was anything they could do to help! I would like to give a special shout-out to Anisa, the Marketing Manager; she was amazing, such a lovely lady, and super friendly! We were celebrating my Sister's 23rd birthday, she went over and above to help make sure it was special, assisting with getting special decorations, planning the surprise, and the cake! Honestly, Grand Duka was one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had! If I ever find myself back in Durrës I know exactly where I'll be staying!

The breakfast was really good, served promptly and very tasty. The staff was always happy to help us with any enquires we had. The parking was safe, 50 meters from the hotel, in a securized yard, and it was included in the price.

Nice hotel where we rented a junior suite (2 adults and 1 teenager). It seems that much of the original charm of the hotel has been preserved. The suite was nice with good closet space, but the bathroom was a bit small, with the shower inside the bathtub. The teenager’s bed was a sofa, which is probably better suited for small children than for a teenager. The pillows were very hard. Small balcony with space for only 2 people. No place to hang wet swimwear. The spa area was very nice, with a lovely indoor heated pool. The gym was small but adequately equipped. Breakfast was okay. Lacking a bit to meet international standards. Large outdoor pool area. The area around the pool needs an upgrade, and the wooden sunbeds need sanding and painting. The bar area also needs a proper upgrade. Very good food in the restaurant, both for lunch and dinner. Good service from the staff. Private beach for the hotel. The sunbeds were a bit worn, but there was good spacing between them. Excellent service from the beach manager, Dino, who was very accommodating. Before staying at the hotel, we rented sunbeds here for almost 14 days, and he was just as service-minded then, even though we weren’t hotel guests. Beach service was excellent. Quick and friendly waiters. There were guards on the beach to ensure that vendors and others didn’t disturb the guests. New rooftop bar with good drinks and a beautiful view. Great service. All in all, a nice hotel with good facilities. Some areas need upgrades, but that doesn’t significantly affect the overall impression. Can definitely recommend the hotel.

Excellent experience. The accommodation is in a great location, modern and nicely furnished. Our room had a long balcony with a beautiful sea view. There is a private beach in a nice part of the coast, about 4 km from the city of Durrës. Everything definitely exceeded our expectations. On top of that, the people who looked after us were very kind.

    The hotel boasts a beautiful pool area with comfortable loungers and a poolside bar. The pool experience is undoubtedly positive. Moving on to the rooms, they are spacious and well-equipped, featuring a fantastic bathroom, a couch, minibar, and fresh towels and utensils. On a positive note, the hotel's personnel are exceptionally friendly and attentive, which enhances the overall experience. Regarding the location, the hotel is situated a little outside of Durres, about a 25-minute walk from the city center.

    Everything was absolutely perfect! The hotel is well maintained, the room and facilities were clean, there is a SPA with Turkish bath a jacuzzi! Breakfast was super delicious! The staff is really friendly and helpful! We had a great time there, thank you very much!

    Big bathrooms, nice rooms. The breakfast was amazing with lots of choices and great coffee made individually by a barista. Restaurant was good too with delicious desserts. Nice private beach to lounge on and great spa. Ideal hotel for relaxation and eating.

    Perfect location right at the seaside and close to the city center. Beach is sandy and it was excellent for relaxing on the loungers. Breakfast was exceptional with variety of tasty food choices. The room and the bathroom were well equipped, very clean and comfortable. We had a great rest and sleep in a really cozy bed. Staff were amazing, very kind, professional, friendly and hospitable... all of them... on the reception, in the restaurants, room service, in the spa, and finally, those responsible to manage the parking area.
