The open fires in the bar and restaurant offer a dinner setting during winter. With its home-cooked food that uses fresh, local ingredients, guests at The White Buck can have a breakfast in the mornings or a Fuller's beer-battered fish and chips at lunch. Lovely cosy well equipped room. Dog friendly! Great service by a wonderful team of staff. Comfy bed, wide choice at breakfast and we really enjoyed our evening meal in the restaurant. Nice garden with lots of seating and shade.

Beautiful old hotel. Appreciate that the decor and furnishings are in keeping with its age. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food in the restaurant at dinner was delicious. The room was very comfortable. Good car park. Great location. Lovely garden.

The hotel room was more than we expected , the bed was super comfy, and the whole experience was more than amazing. It was mine and my partners 9 year anniversary and we had brought our dog along and when we got to the room and saw the lil dogy hamper with bowels , towels, tennis ball, dog boscuit ans shampoo for him it made it that more for us. Breakfast and dinner were exceptional, and we couldn't have wished for anything more !! We were over the moon with the hotel and would 1000% reccomed to anyone staying, especially with dogs.
