Fronalpstock Hotel & Restaurant is situated in Stoos, 1922 metres above sea level and next to the 4er Sesselbahn Fronalpstock and 6er Sesselbahn. Located amidst the Ski Region Stoos, the inn is only accessible by foot or via the cable car. There’s a special kind of magic that begins when the last cable car leaves at 4 p.m. and you’re left almost alone at the top of the mountain. It’s an unforgettable experience. The views are among the most breathtaking I’ve ever seen, with beautiful hiking trails and even a playground right next to the hotel. The view from the room is incredible – you can relax on a sun lounger on the terrace and simply take it all in (there are even blankets for cooler evenings!). The staff were absolutely lovely. Special thanks to the kind waitress, the kitchen staff, and the person who welcomed us at check-in. They made our stay even more special. Breakfasts were tasty, and the dinners were truly delicious with prices that are reasonable by Swiss standards.

Offering a restaurant, Landgasthof Schlüssel Alpnach is located in Alpnach, at the foot of Pilatus Mountain. Free WiFi access is available. Featuring a bath or shower, private bathroom also comes with free toiletries. You can enjoy mountain view from the room. Extras include a desk and bed linen. I just love a family owned hotel. It is just so nice and cosy!

This hotel is situated in Meggen, just 700 metres away from Lake Lucerne. It offers an Italian restaurant with garden terrace. All rooms have a bathroom and cable TV.

Pasta dishes, pizza and risotto are served at Ristorante Schlössli. Homemade desserts include tiramisu, panna cotta with blueberries and chocolate mousse. Everything! Location is great, easy to find and easy on public transport. Charming authentic hotel with great and clearly very popular restaurant downstairs. Staff were warm, welcoming and friendly. Room was clean and comfortable, basic, but we knew that. We ate in the restaurant and the food was excellent.

All rooms at the inn are fitted with a seating area, a flat-screen TV with cable channels and a private bathroom with a hairdryer and a bidet. Free WiFi is accessible to all guests, while some rooms have a balcony. Guest rooms have a desk. The hotel is absolutely charming and comfortable. We thoroughly appreciated the Alpine decor along with the professional & friendly people who run the hotel . The restaurant is to be highly recommended

Hotel Engel offers a children's playground. Guests at the inn will be able to enjoy activities in and around Emmetten, like skiing, windsurfing and cycling. First time at this hotel on our way to Italy. Clean and comfortable rooms. Lovely area. Breakfast was fabulous. Staff excellent. There is a restaurant but we didn’t eat. Parking at the hotel.

Hotel Sonnenberg is easily reachable by the historic funicular, climbing up from Kriens Dorf within 7 minutes, from April to November. Absolutely stunning views, great location near Kriens (where gondolas and cable car to Pilatus leave from), comfortable rooms with lovely views and balcony with chairs and table, free minigolf and playground, free fruit for guests, ample free parking and 2 x 22KW chargers for electric cars. Last but not least, a fabulous and v reasonable Michelin quality fine dining menu in the restaurant (with wine from a vineyard we could see from the terrasse). Would highly recommend for anyone visiting the Luzern region

There was coffe tea.. huge pillows😁 There is a bar under but the windows kept the noise out.
