Perfect location to access the Wadi Shab... very cheap

Salim the host was very helpful and accessible for any questions. This was the cheapest on booking so I viewed my stay in that context. The tent was clean and comfortable, nice bed and duvet. Shower and toilet were perfectly functional. The food was nice and home made. I did the dunes bashing g which was good fun, Salim is a master driver and obviously at home in those conditions, it was perhaps a little pricey at 25omr and hour but to be fair that may be the going rate anywhere, I don't know. Nice campfire after din er.

- highly recommend booking the desert drive for 30 OMR (per car), this included the transfer to/from the camp from the parking lot. The drive to the camp includes a serious uphill section, a cheap 4x4 rental got stuck several and couldn't make it. The desert drive is lots of fun, the driver will drive to 2 viewpoints (for sunset) with fun dune driving in between.

Very good option near ras al Jinz. Much cheaper and only a few minutes walk. Very friendly owner. The food (there is nothing around so take dinner and breakfast) is basic but nice.

Really good value for money. Great friendly staff very helpful, I am traveling on a budget and they explained to me different ways of getting to places to save money. Comfortable rooms and good location near the bus stop and local amenities

It is a clean and spacious hotel with nice rooms, a small swimming pool, and smiling staff. If you book on booking.com, you will have breakfast included from the nearby restaurant. Lots of restaurants nearby with very good and cheap food. I had tea-maker and fridge in my room, water for drink included, clean sheets.

Very clean ,hygienic and nice room, good for leisure or business travelers on a budget, staff is very friendly and helpful, I definitely think this review will help you make the right choice
