It was very cheap, we had our own little house and private bathroom. Location wise, every place in this village would be good because it is small. And the wifi was very good! Warm water in shower.
It is in a nice location in a budget category. The views from the room are amazing. Don't get disheartened when you see the entry though :-)
Kind host, really new and clean feel to the room. Located between Kazbegi and the church - good for our hike. Clean, well equipped and spacious shared kitchen. Very comfortable bed. Incredibly cheap.
The view on the river is amazing. Building is combination of both old and modern style, food is delicious and very cheap.
Huge room, very close to the Shino lift. You can buy loft tickets there (very cheap) and go straight up the mountain. Just a couple mins walk around from the hotel. Host Cindy was awesome at helping us out and making our stay great. Be ideal if you could get some groceries on the way, ask to stop at the Spar and make use of the kitchen facilities as not much nearby except restaurant SKIO which is delicious but expensive, some in-house options also available and we enjoyed a big breakfast each day.
The main selling point is that it is cheaper than Rooms, and has the same magnificent view of Mount Kazbek and Gergeti Trinity Church. Other than that, the hotel is hardly worth its price - especially on the shoulder of the season. The restaurant/bar has the vibe of an old Soviet diner, in a good way.
Kazbegi Apartments is quite modern. The staff was very friendly (although there was in fact just a single person working throughout the three days of our stay - I hope they get compensated accordingly and have enough free time). And on another plus side, it was very uncomplicated to shorten our stay - thanks for that.
