Location was good, food wasn’t cheap

Clean, has oven-microwave (surprise) & refrigerator. I can have warm breakfast, cool beer, and reheat pie I bought from somewhere. It is good for budget traveller.

The apartment was great and just what we needed with the little open plan kitchen and lounge. Nice and comfortable for our own small prepared breakfasts. Great location. Parking is best a little down the road, it is safe and quite cheap for 24 hours, we dropped our bags at the property and then went to park the car in the carpark.

The location was perfect and pub itself is lovely! Most staff were very nice during our stay. Food was lovely, but very overpriced, £17.50 for a cheese and pesto pasta was not value for money as a family, children’s meals £9-£10 with no extras. We found just as nice food much cheaper and value for money in Kendal, Bowness and Windermere town centres. But the food I have to say was very nice & drinks all very good!

Superb location. So much space to cook your own food but great breakfast if not .Cost of room so cheap ! Staff super friendly and a good vibe with other customers .

The staff were so friendly, we felt very welcome and at ease. They were always happy to help. The location is convenient (south or northbound), and for a little extra you can overlook the lake and surrounding countryside. Quiet place. Nice clean (although slightly damp) bedding and fresh towels. It was very cheap, so good on a budget.
