On the banks of the mighty Zoute Rivier with a view overlooking the quaint town of Hopefield, Spindlewood Barn Accommodation is nestled. This bed & breakfast offers a farm style and rustic feel, while the rooms themselves have a clean, fresh and cozy atmosphere. Enjoy a toasty fireside dinner in our large communal kitchen, or a long lazy breakfast basking in the sun while the dogs, cats and ducks entertain you! The rooms have both internal and external doors so you can come and go in peace and as you please. Secure parking inside the property with sensor lights that come on in the evening, for your safety. Hopefield is a hidden gem on the Cape West Coast and offers an exquisite night sky full of stars, calming peace and quiet, and a true country-feel experience.
Mum and daughter team, originally from Cape Town, both with experience in property and hospitality. Both are avid home cooks always with an aim to please and to provide guests with the maximum comfort experience.
Hopefield is the oldest town on the Cape West Coast and is slowly becoming a destination spot. During the week you can enjoy meals at our various eateries and explore the small businesses in the area. Over the weekend, especially in summer and in flower season (August), the town is abuzz with visitors and locals who come out to play. A visit to our popular Farmers Market is a must, for excellent local produce and authentic country hospitality. Hopefield is close to Langebaan, Darling, Veldrift and more, all of which provide different experiences from food, to ocean, to river, and more!
