Oorgenoeg in Langebaan is a smallholding on the outskirts of Langebaan in Longacres Equestrian Estate. We offer 2 types of accommodation. Hooggenoeg is a 2 sleeper and is situated at the back of the property, behind the main house, above our horse shelter overlooking the horses among the trees. Besides the perfect placement of the double bed there is an open plan victorian bath as well as a kitchenette fitted with everything you'll need. Outside on the covered patio is a private wood-fired hot tub for the exclusive use of guests - enjoying nature in all its glory - perfect for romantic getaways and honeymoons. For the nature lover this will feel like paradise - dogs, cats, horses, geese, chickens and rooster all live on the smallholding - not to mention the eagles and owls that live in the trees. Nabygenoeg can accommodate 4 guests and is situated at the front of the property with a lovely patio, braai, woodfired hot-tub and loungers. When visiting Oorgenoeg, guests are invited to contact the host to book a monochord sound journey. The monochord is an ancient instrument used for thousands of years to facilitate healing. This is a rare and unique experience offered in the comfort of the owners studio at Oorgenoeg . Staying at Oorgenoeg in Langebaan offers guests best of both worlds as we are 3km away from the nearest beaches, bars, restaurants and shopping malls allowing guests to experience Langebaan and all its' excitement and returning the to quiet tranquil farm-style accommodation to fully relax and unwind.
Nadea Victor, your host at Oorgenoeg in Langebaan is also the owner of Adeastudios. Nadea works from her studio at Oorgenoeg. She is a portrait artist - specialising in portraits of "crossed over" souls. She is also a Cerrfitified Animal Communicator & Healer, Creative Grief Support Practitioner, Trauma Sensitive Yoga Facilitator and offers deeply transformative Monochord Sound Journeys at her studio. Guests are invited to reach out to Nadea to experience this truly unique journey through sound. The Monochord is the second oldest musical instrument on the planet and has been used since ancient times to facilitate healing for body, mind and soul. Guests who would like to view Nadea's art at the main house are welcome to reach out to Nadea.
