House 52 is in Sodwana Bay Lodge, which has 4 bedrooms, with aircons + 2 bathroom self-catering house, with a view over the lake, FREE WIFI and Air-fryer. We have access to a vehicle under the house, but only one 4-wheel drive vehicle. No more than a vehicle below the house as this is a very narrow sandy road. It has no turning place. If you park more than 1 vehicle in this alley, other house guests won't be able to get in or out of the road We do have undercover marked parking on the top of the resort. We only use Gas geysers, gas stoves, and Braai's at Sodwana Bay Lodge. No open fires are allowed inside Sodwana Bay Lodge. We are 6 km from the main beach. Sodwana Bay Lodge is situated just before you enter the National Park, where you pay to enter to the beach. GPS 27° 30' 48.6504'' S32° 39' 27.2088'' E Directions from Durban or Johannesburg, please follow the N2 to Hluhluwe and from Hluhluwe onto the R22 to Sodwana 4 Hour drive from Durban and 7 Hour drive from Johannesburg to Sodwana. (Tar road all the way to Sodwana if you make use of these directions. Please avoid driving in the dark. We have a Restaurant and Dive Shop on Property. Our Restaurant hours are as follows: Breakfast 7h00 - 10h00, Lunch 12h00 - 15h00 and Dinner 18h00 - 21h00 daily. Dive Shop is open from 7h00 - 16h30 except for Christmas Day and New Year's Day.
Sodwana Bay Lodge has 24-hour security. Our Reception is open from 7h00 - 21h00 daily. We are open on Christmas Day and New Year's day, from 7h00 - 12h00. We have a Duty Manager on call at all times between 7h00 and 21h00 daily.
We are a 20 km drive to Mkuze Game Reserve, a self-drive Game Reserve. We are also 45km from Lake Sibaya, the biggest freshwater lake in SA. We have a convenient shop across our security gate and in the National Park for food, fruits & drinks. We can also assist with Petrol between 14h00 - 15h00 daily and Diesel from 8h00 - 15h00 on our property (Sodwana Bay Lodge) at the Boat Locker Area. Please make arrangements with Reception
