Dr.Cas (also known as Cas) is a Thai graffiti and street artist known for using art as a tool to engage with and uplift local communities, particularly in Chiang Mai. He is the founder of Addict Art Studio, located in the Kuan Kham Ma community near Chang Phuak Gate in Chiang Mai’s Old City. Dr.Cas believes that art can be a catalyst for social change. He works closely with local residents to organize community-driven art events such as “Kin Horm Tom Muan”, a neighborhood art festival that promotes sustainability and cultural identity. For example, the event encourages people to avoid using plastic bags and instead use eco-friendly alternatives like banana leaves.
