The village of Ribno, hidden near Lake Bled, offers peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle. Surrounded by the Julijcev and Karavank ridges, it boasts clean air and wonderful views of the Sava Bohinjka valley. Here you will find ideal conditions for fishing and many sports activities. Our accommodation Gostišče Pri Dveh Petelineh, with more than 35 years of tradition, offers warmth and homeliness. Ecologically aware, with our own solar power plant, we ensure energy self-sufficiency. All accommodations are air-conditioned for your comfort. We also offer guests the rental of electric and regular bicycles for easier exploration of Bled and its surroundings. There is also 1 electric charging station for cars.

Neighbourhood information

The small village of Ribno is a real oasis of peace not far from the Slovenian pearl of Lake Bled. An ideal starting point to conquer the Slovenian mountains, try your hand at fly fishing on Sava Bohinjka or Radovna, enjoy walks in unspoiled nature or row to an island on Lake Bled. Lake Bled with an island and Bled Castle are just the beginning. Viewpoints such as Straža, Ojstrica and Mala osojnica offer breathtaking views of the landscape. Natural beauties also include the Vintgar and Pokljuška gorges and the Pokljuka, Jelovica and Mežakla plateaus. The Triglav National Park and the cave under Babji zobom are perfect for exploring, while waterfalls such as under Iglica, Šum and Savica impress with their picturesqueness. The Radovna Valley and the rivers Sava Bohinjka and Dolinka with their confluence also offer beautiful natural corners. Bohinj with its hidden treasures is worth a visit. For the youngest explorers, there is a Dinopark, summer sledding at Straža, a trampoline park and the Miracle Menagerie, a mini zoo with reptiles. Adrenaline enthusiasts can enjoy canyoning, rafting, kayaking, zip line, hot air balloon rides, paragliding, hiking and fishing.
