Skärva Herrgård has a long and important history and was built in 1786 by admiral Chapman as his summer residence. Today the building belongs to the World Heritage of Karlskrona. Completely renovated in 2014, our guests can feel the historic flair combined with a modern and artistic interior which aims to inspire and invites to be creative.
Set in the heart of a nature reserve, framed by the Baltic Sea, we maintain a refuge where guests can escape the bustle of daily life to restfully rejuvenate and reconnect to nature and themselves.
Neighbourhood information
The house is located in a nature reserve directly at the sea and is surrounded by beautiful old oaks, rocky viewpoints over the water, green meadows with sheep horses and cows and big beautiful barns filled withlittle surprises.
Our neigbour and partner is a small organic farm, just 500 meters away from the mansion with an organic store, and a big organic garden.
