Hello, I'm Abilio, I'm very happy to welcome you with Castle Inn Lisbon. I count on the precious collaboration of Antônia, my wife, Nadia and Sara. I was born and live in Lisbon. I am a member of BNI, a civil engineer and a Benfica fan. I was a player and I love handball. I have two sons who... also played handball. I love my family and my city. And because I like to transform what surrounds me, I also built the concept of Altura Inn Beach, Altura Inn Terrace and Altura Inn Cottage in the Algarve.

Property information

Castle Inn Lisbon has our soul and part of our heart. My wife and I completely rebuilt two buildings in the Castelo neighborhood, with archaeological excavations. Please keep in mind that access is limited to authorized vehicles such as local taxis, 737 buses and some transfers. Ask us for more information on how to get there, do not book online. There are 5 apartments with Lisbon themed paintings, excellent thermal and acoustic insulation, wi-fi, and all the comfort of a new house in the historic center. We are proud of the construction of these buildings, for giving modern life to a space whose ruins hid many stories and which has a lot of history. And it is also a privilege to discover that there are photos of these buildings dating back to the 19th century. XIX, that is, from the time of the Monarchy. We are also proud to see that in the space where a restaurant operates, there was a tavern in the 19th century, as seen in the photo. ' It is a privilege to be in this space, knowing that beneath the ground there are undiscovered treasures from our ancestors, because this entire area is extremely rich in archaeological finds that were soon noticed just a few centimeters from the excavations. It is also with emotion that we realize that our guests They feel, like us, the magic of the place, through the messages they leave us in the guest house book available on site. Castle Inn Lisbon is located within the walls of Castelo de São Jorge, in the historic center of Lisbon. Therefore, access is limited to authorized vehicles such as local taxis, 737 buses and some transfers. Ask us for more information on how to get there, do not book online. The Castelo neighborhood is extremely peaceful at night, with the inhabitants just like neighbors. Within a radius of 500m there are all the monuments and viewpoints to visit on foot. There is Bus 737, 2 minutes away and Tram 28, 5 minutes away. The neighborhood is a small protected village in the city center. Staying there is like traveling back in time, in very narrow streets, very small houses, windows with windows, providing a very shared life with the neighbors in the neighborhood. This historic neighborhood was and remains like that, but at the same time, two steps from everything, in the heart of the city, And if you always see a cat on the street, it's every neighbor's cat, the one everyone cares about but it's not belongs to no one, it belongs to the neighborhood. If you come on Saturday or Sunday, don't forget to visit the local community (Associação Recreativa dos Moradores do Castelo) and socialize with the residents drinking and snacking, on Rua do Recolhimento. Also unmissable is the Miradouro do Recolhimento, as well as the Torre da Igreja, the highest viewpoint in Lisbon, opened in 2018, both 2 minutes from Castle Inn Lisbon.
