Hey, this is Goncalo and Miku, your hosts in Lisbon. We started our holiday rental journey by sharing our spare bedroom back in 2015, and have since created our own brand - LU Holidays. We are currently managing all our apartments, with the help of our check-in team made of locals and travellers. Some of these apartments are owned by us, the rest belong to family and friends. Our hosting goal is to find a good balance between providing our guests with organised and professional service, and still able to bring you a local and authentic Lisbon experience. We love travelling, but also love being at home in Lisbon. We have a Yorkie named Avocado, not sure if it's relevant but just feel the need of including him in our description . CHIADO is an elegant, sophisticated district of theaters, bookshops, old-style cafes, art nouveau jewelry shops, luxurious international names such as Hermes, and local treasures such as the opulently gilded Tavares Rico Restaurant opened in 1784, the fine porcelain shop Vista Alegre, or one of Portugal's international fashion designers, Ana Salazar. Much of the area was destroyed in a fire in 1988, but has since been reborn.
