The house "Lomba do Cavaleiro" is located 4 km from the center of Vila da Povoação and has a unique sea view.
The atmosphere is homely and you can enjoy a magnificent south-facing terrace as well as a peaceful garden.
The "Agrião" Trail which is a linear route near the coast that connects Povoação to Ribeira Quente, passes right by the house. You can enjoy the viewpoint of Lomba do Cavaleiro only 300 meters away from the house.

Povoação is considered as one of the most beautiful and at the same time the most unknown town of São Miguel Island.
In addition to the wonderful viewpoints and magnificent landscapes, I'd like to recommend less touristic sites such as the Wheat Museum, Ribeira Quente or Pelames Beaches (with a free saltwater pool) and to go for a stroll along Plátanos Avenue (or Sycamore Avenue).
