Ponsonby Manor is a gracious Victorian mansion that’s been completely restored to its former grandeur. Set in the heart of cosmopolitan Ponsonby, the soul of Auckland city, this iconic building is a part of New Zealand’s early settler history. It’s a peaceful retreat from the bustle of Ponsonby road with stunning views of harbour and city. All the rooms are beautifully furnished with a modern fit out against elegant Victorian craftsmanship. Floor to ceiling tiled ensuites throughout, large LCD TV’s … Enjoy a champagne on our balcony or garden then join in the fun immediately across the road at some of Auckland’s well renown restaurants. Afterwards take a short stroll along Ponsonby Road to visit the many bars, cafes and late night retreats that Ponsonby is famous for! Connect via WiFi throughout. Kitchen/Dining: Clean, sunny, communal kitchen, well-equipped with smart, modern facilities. You will find a good mix of everything needed to cook your meals.

Ponsonby Manor is located right on Ponsonby Road, Auckland’s eclectic inner-city community where residents and visitors shop and relax, work and play. It is set amongst leafy streets lined with historic timber houses and peopled by a great cross-section of New Zealanders. The bus outside our door will take you to the city centre and waterfront in just 7 minutes. You can wander up Ponsonby Road for a snack or meal – choose from the international food hall for meals, famous fish and chips, cafes or up-market restaurants. There are more bars, restaurants and nightclubs a short walk away on Karangahape Road.
