Conach House is a purpose built Bed and Breakfast with entertaining at its heart. While each spacious room has privacy, there are several large social spaces to enjoy with your hosts and fellow travellers if you so choose. The beautiful grounds have been lovingly developed over many years and offer some wonderful spots to relax in the shade, enjoy a spa under the stars, fresh fruit straight from the tree and honey from our very own hive. The continental breakfast is delicious and Megan and Shane are never far away to help you with anything you need. Quiet, peaceful surroundings with the extra touches of a home away from home. Whether it is a night away, a place to rest your head after an event at Lake Karapiro or a place for your Bridal Party to prepare themselves for their big day, Conach House is the perfect venue to meet your needs!
Your Hosts, Megan and Shane love opening our home to you as their guests; for the time you are with them, their home is your home. They love meeting their guests and you will always receive a warm welcome from them. Megan and Shane take pride in sharing their little piece of paradise with you. Whether it is relaxing in the sun with a glass of wine, sitting in the spa watching the crystal clear stars or sitting around the fire pit on a cooler evening we want you to leave feeling relaxed after a little TLC before you head off on your next journey.
Conach House is situated in the heart of Karapiro with the Karapiro Domain and Sir Don Rowlands Centre directly across the road. It is an 7 minute drive into Cambridge where you will find a wonderful selection of boutique shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. Heading out of Cambridge, Conach House is 14 minutes to the Avantidrome, 16 minutes to Mystery Creek Events Centre, 18 minutes Hamilton Airport and 26 minutes to Hobbiton Movie Set. Lake Karapiro is the home of New Zealand Rowing and is the venue for many fantastic events. With Conach House situated right across the road, it is the perfect location for any event you may be attending at Mighty River Domain.
