Tømmerhytte av håndlaftet tømmer- solide tømmerstokker som garanterer en helt spesiell og koselig atmosfære. To håndlagede peiser. En av naturstein fra gulv til tak i stue og en vedfyrt mursteinsovn av smijern. Fantastisk fjellutsikt fra alle rom. I 2. etasje er det en stor stue med TV og 4 kvm stort panoramavindu over dalen. Spesiallaget seng, kopi fra 1600-tallet, er et smykke i stua. Peiser og AC og varmeovner sikrer god og behagelig varme. Håndlagede bord og senger. Man kan ta på seg ski utenfor døra og gå rett innover vidda i flere preparerte løyper eller lage sine egne løyper. Flott terreng rundt hytta for lek og rekreasjon og hvor hare og rype kan observeres. Bålpanne og annet ildsted utenfor hytta kan benyttes med forsiktighet og gir en helt spesiell atmosfære sommer som vinter.
Vi regner oss selv som en friluftsmennesker, serviceminded og imøtekommende. Vi er opptatt av at dere ikke bare skal ha et godt opphold men også en uforglemmelig fjellopplevelse her på Solsetra. Velkommen til vårt fjellparadis!
5 minutter med bil fra hytta er det en landsby som heter Hovden. Her finnes restauranter, kafeer, bibliotek, ulike forretninger, badeland og en gress fotballbane. En elv renner gjennom Hovden og det er gode bade og fiskemuligheter her og i andre vann i området med muligheter for leie av båter og kanoer. Flere skitrekk og skøytebane finnes i området. Man kan også gå på ski ned til Hovden. Hovden må oppleves!
