De Stjelp Pleats is een karakteristieke stelp boerderij. gebouwd in 1913. Er zijn 5 ruime, sfeervolle gastenkamers, twee kamers op de begaande grond en 3 kamers op de 1e etage. Alle kamers hebben een eigen badkamer ( inloopdouche, wastafel, föhn en toilet). U heeft als gast een eigen ingang via de oude staldeur. Vanuit de gastenkamers heeft u een weids uitzicht over de landerijen in de directe omgeving van de boerderij. In de huiskamer wordt het ontbijt geserveerd en kunt u overdag lezen, puzzelen of tv kijken. Aan de achterzijde van de boerderij hebben we een mooie tuin met terras aangelegd, beschut tegen de wind. De voorzieningen zijn: *parkeergelegenheid op het erf. *afsluitbare overdekte motoren en fietsenstalling. *In de gastenkeuken kunt u koffie of thee zetten. * koelkasten zijn beschikbaar. * gratis Wifi *kinderbed en kinderstoel zijn aanwezig. *E-bike oplaadpunt.
De woonboerderij is gelegen op 0,5 km van de busstation en op 1 km afstand van het centrum van het oude vissersdorp Lemmer. Lemmer heeft een rijke historie, vele monumenten en is gelegen aan het IJsselmeer.. Achter de boerderij ligt de oude zeedijk waar de Zuiderzeeroute langs loopt. In de omgeving vindt u de prachtige bossen van Gaasterland en Kuinre. Er zijn vele wandel-en fietsroutes door de veenpolders. en de Noordoostpolder In het voorjaar kunt u de prachtige bollenvelden van de Noordoostpolder niet missen. Zwemmen en vissen kunt in het IJsselmeer en het Tjeukemeer. In Joure zijn vele jaarlijkse terugkerende evenementen, zoals de ballongeesten, Swipedei en de Boerenbruiloft. Joure staat ook bekend om zijn klokkenmakerijen, de Douwe Egberts fabrieken en het grafisch Museum In Heerenveen vindt u het Thialf ijsstadion en het museum Belvedère. Uit Sneek komt de originele beerenburg van de Weduwe Joustra. De Waterpoort en het Scheepsmuseum.
