Hi, I’m Elaine, a designer who loves sharing experiences and meeting new people. Name of the house: The Petrichor I rent out a double bedroom with a private, attached bathroom. The room has a queen-size bed and can accommodate up to two guests only. You will be sharing the house including the common areas with me and my husband. We stay in the bedroom on the 1st floor, while your double bedroom and the other rented rooms are on the ground floor. The house is cozy, and you are welcome to use all the common areas. We just ask that you treat the shared spaces and others’ belongings with respect.

To ensure a comfortable experience for everyone—guests and neighbours alike—we kindly ask for your help with a few house notes. 1. Conserve Resources Please help us avoid waste by switching off lights, AC, and appliances when not in use. 2. Our House Rules For everyone's safety and comfort: a) Please note, only registered guests are permitted on the property. Visitors are not allowed. b) We are a non-smoking/vaping home indoors. c) No parties, events, or loud gatherings, please. d) Unfortunately, pets are not allowed. e) We kindly ask that you leave shoes at the door. f) No Commercial Photography/Videography. 3. Noise & Consideration Our cozy wooden home has limited soundproofing. Please be mindful of volume, especially after 9:00 PM, so everyone can rest undisturbed. 4. Kitchen & Dining a) Light cooking is welcome; please avoid dishes with strong, lingering odours. b) Help yourself to complimentary coffee, tea, and snacks! c) To keep the bedrooms fresh, please enjoy all food and drinks in the dining area. Durian is a patio-only treat. 5. A Few Extra Details A washer/dryer is available (please finish by 8 PM). A first aid kit is in the wooden cabinet. Guests are responsible for any accidental damages.
