Our house is a 60-year-old antique Japanese house, located in the mountains at an altitude of 450 meters, far from the city. Here you can enjoy the nature. We live with our 2-year-old son, two cats, and a Peruvian manager who speaks fluent Japanese. ⸻ 🛏 Rooms The rooms are private, but all common areas (kitchen, living room, bathroom) are shared. They do not have keys, but we provide lockers with keys. All bedding is organic cotton. There is no air conditioning. In the summer, there are fans and ice packs; in the winter, alpaca blankets and slippers, and heating. ⸻ 🍽 Breakfast (Empanadas) We offer South American empanadas (meat, sweets, vegetables) for breakfast for an additional cost. ⸻ 🍳 Kitchen Equipped kitchen: refrigerator, microwave, frying pan, pot, dishes. Seasonings: oils (rice, sesame, olive), salt (sea, rock), cane sugar, soy sauce, pepper. Next to the house there is a grocery. ⸻ 🛁 Bathroom Available: hairdryer, shower gel, lotion, moisturizer, cotton swabs. Towel and toothbrush: rental. 100% plant-based, additive-free shampoos. Bring your own sponge. ⸻ 👕 Laundry Washing machine and dryer available. We use plant-based detergent without additives. ⸻ 🚍 Access From Ena Station, take the Nakanohou bus line. We are a 1-minute walk from the "Dainichi" bus stop. ⸻ 🌿 Ideal for: ・Nature lovers ・Travelers with young children ・Those who enjoy cooking We recommend staying at least 2 nights.
The person in charge here is a nice girl who prepares delicious empanadas .
“KASAGI MOUNTAIN” It is a mountain that is very loved and respected by the people. You can climb it on foot. On the way you will find some giant stones called “pyramid stones”. At the top there is a viewpoint where you can see a beautiful landscape. It will take you about 5 or 6 hours round trip. ”Sakaori Tanada” are rice paddies built 400 years ago. They are very famous here in Japan because it represents the history of rice fields here in Japan, since in ancient times the people lived in the middle of the mountains and because of that the rice fields were built using the shape of the mountain very well and using stones. When you look at it from the lookout you can see that they look like stairs with rice fields. Walking will take you 2 to 3 hours round trip. “Nakanohou Dam” It is very close to our house. Here you can also walk and you can spend a quiet time observing the landscape. It will take you 1 hour round trip Restaurants Sushi,Soba and Japanese cuisine.
