An elegant spacious contemporary 2 bedroom apartment secluded on a mountain side, in the middle of the Podere Fortuna Vineyard. On the same land once used by the Medici family over 500 years ago to grow their grapes. At 463 meters above sea level, this location offers a consistent breeze and summer night tempatures that can drop as much as 20 degrees. The southern facing view looks down the vineyards and then raises to the top of the adjacent mountains where the Castel Trebbio nestles among tall cypress tress. The rolling hillsides, with their ever changing morning and evening cloud configurations offers some amazing views for enjoying the peace and tranquility of this unique country location. Enjoy, having breakfast, lunch or dinner while sitting in the middle nature. The property has over 300mq of garden space, including a 45mq patio with lounge chairs and an outdoor dining table that has a large 24mq awning, providing both, shade and privacy. There are 2 full size bedrooms, a King bed with an on-suite shower, sink and wc. The second is a very spacious room with a queen size bed and a large desk and cabinets. There is an additional bathroom, with tub/shower, bidet, sink and wc. The living/dining open space, has a comfortable corner of couches and puffs, along with a smart tv with a Sound-Around audio system for viewing Netflix and YouTube channels. There is also a Blu_Tooth stero sytem for listening to a collection of Lounge Music CDs and your favorites via Blu-Tooth.
Originally from Long Island New York, I moved to Florence some 30+ years ago to work in the Italian Luxury Shoe Industry, in design and production management. My position gave me the opportunity to travel and to meet and work with people from over all over the world. For hobbies, I enjoy designing and building various projects for our home, and for Incantevole Mugello. I have a passion for cooking and everything mechanical. I especially enjoy meeting our new guests, who so far this year have arrived from 16 different countries.
The property is located in a private residential area, which is located on a secluded hill top. We are located : 2 km to San Piero a Sieve train station ( 25 minutes to Florence center ) 5.2 km to Scarperia. ( Mugello International Circuit , Autodromo ) 8.5 km to the A1 Autostrada ( Barberino Designers Outlet ) 2.5 km to Bahia Beach, Lago Bilancino ( Paddle boarding and Windsurfing, Dining and Night Club ) 3.2 km to The Medici Golf Club ( open to public, green fees charged ) 22 km to the center of Florence by car. Just outside our gate; Trekking and Mountain Biking ( guided tours available ).
