I have personally chosen this village after a motorcycle trip around Sicily in 2024 from Malta, Collesano is a cute small town with genuine local restaurants and warm people in between the mountains at Madonie National Park however really close to Cefalù (35min). The perfect getaway off the beaten track, away from all the touristic hustle but close enough to visit all historical and natural spots, you won't find a gem like this in northern Sicily where you can actually park and drive a car.
