Cascina del Rosone lies on a hill top in the small village of Agliano Terme. We are a small single vinyard producer of excellent biological babera wine. When you stay in our agriturismo you get the opportunity to experience and observe the vines growing and the making of wine. Our two apartments with beautiful views of the undulating Unesco landscape invites you to enjoy good food, wine and life in general. You are in walking distance from restaurants serving local food and small shops with traditional ingredients for the ones who prefer cooking themselves and enjoy the meal in the nice garden of the house.
At Cascina del Rosone we welcome you to enjoy the beautiful sorroundings as we do, being long time enthusiasts good food and wine. We would like to take you on a tour of the vinyard and a visit to our cantina for a taste of Barbera.
The centre of our little village of Agliano Terme is only a short walk from the vinyard. In Agliano youcan have a coffe, an aperitivo, enjoy local food in restaurants and shop local bread and prosciutto. If you like riding a bike, the undulating hills invites you to go gor a ride and stop for lunch in the next village, or further ahead. The area has different marked hiking routes, many of them through the vinyards in the Unesco landscape. Markets and shopping can be found in Nizza Monferrato, Alba and Asti. For the wine lover, excellent wine producers can be found in abundance within a drive of thirty minutes.
