OKIl Casale la Barca è situato a soli 2 KM DAL MARE DELL ARGENTARIO, immerso nella verde campagna della Maremmana Toscana e vicino al corso del fiume Albegna, si trova un antico Casale finemente ristrutturato dove è possibile trascorre giornate di relax, lasciandosi conquistare dalla natura in tutto il suo splendore; è possibile leggere tranquillamente un libro comodamente seduti nel giardino particolarmente curato che circonda gli appartamenti, dedicarsi a qualche ore di pesca sportiva o montare in sella ad una mountain bike e pedalare lungo i sentieri che portano a visitare tanti luoghi di interesse storico. Il Casale si trova in una posizione particolarmente ideale, a pochi chilometri dai borghi toscani ricchi di STORIA E FASCINO TUTTO MAREMMANO

Di grande fascino e interesse storico, il territorio è stato la prima fonte di nascita di popoli etruschi, di grande importanza sono così sorte cittadine come Cosa, Roselle, Vetulonia, Pitigliano, Vulci, Populonia e molte altre dislocate nell’intero territorio, che già a quell’epoca basavano la loro economia sullo sfruttamento minerario e sui commerci marittimi. Dopo gli etruschi vi è stata meta anche da parte dei romani con la caduta di Roselle, e con la costruzione della rete viaria Aurelia; Clodia da Roma a Saturnia che collegava le città etrusche a Roma; di grande importanza anche la costruzione di porti sulle cittadine di Cosa e Ansedonia. Successivamente dopo l’età Medioevale, ad interessarsi del territorio è la città di Siena che dopo l’abbandono dell’ultimo centro di origine etrusca, da vita ad una conquista lenta ma efficace sulla costa settentrionale del territorio, lasciando segni tangibili nelle città feudali del periodo. Dopo le scorrerie del Pirata Barbarossa attorno al 1540, Siena è costretta alla totale revisione del sistema delle fortezze su cui incombeva anche il pericolo fiorentino.
