The apartments are available in a family house on the ground floor, with separate entrance. They are situated on the coast of river Korana in a small and quiet place Belajske Poljice (5 km away from Karlovac - 5 km from Duga Resa-70 km away from Plitvice Lakes ) They have their own , private beach and are ideal for peaceful family holiday especially for families with kids. Guests can use barbecue , free parking, wifi, boat and canoe. They are perfect place to enjoy the silence and have deserved vacation. The Apartments Korana are fully equiped and renovated ( Apartment Korana is renovated in 2017. and the Apartmen Korana 2 is build in 2019. ) Both of our apartments are surrounded with large garden and quiet nature. There is a baby crib and it can be prepared for our little guests. Apartments Korana are ideal for peacful family holiday enjoying all the fun and joy on their private beach. Newly opened freshwater aquarium and river museum Aquatika . As a city on four rivers, Karlovac is the ideal place for such a presentation. The Aquarium presents the flora and fauna of Croatian rivers and lakes, geological past, traditional culture and the history of the riverbed of four Karlovac rivers – Korana, Kupa, Mrežnica and Dobra, and is located directly along the Korana river. The exhibition scenario is linear following the entire flow of the river. The exhibition begins with the “source” on the square, and then goes down the pedestrian ramp with aquariums down to the basement floor with cave and swampy habitats. In the aquarium it is possible to see more than 100 species of fish and more than 40 endemic species inhabited or in the past inhabited by Croatian rivers. Of the sights that you should visit we emphasize only some, including the closest military complex Turanj , a weapons collection museum from the Homeland War in Turanj. “The events in the Homeland War once again proved the importance of Turanj as an advance guard for Karlovac.
