Company info

Plaka studios is a family business. All members after their studies worked in large companies in Greece for many years. Their love for hospitality found a place in this business combining their experience in customer service and being customers in hotels for many years. Since 1999, Kaiti Garagani has been the owner of the business and since 2022, Effie Garagani. Christos Garaganis is the one who had the idea and the implementation of the business and thus managed over time to either leave Athens or spend a long time in Chios.

Property info

The form of the building was based, after a study by the architect Kiki Karathanasi, on architectural elements of Chios tradition. For this reason, no room is the same as another. The total square footage was sacrificed in order to achieve a more aesthetic result. It was completed in 1999 and renovations are often carried out, with the aim of maintaining the building in good condition, due to its location in front of the sea. The room types are: Superior Family Studio sea view that can sleep 5 guests. The 5th bed is a chair bed so is suitable for a child or a small body adult Superior Triple Studio sea view that can sleep 3 guests Superior Double or Twin Room with Sea View that can sleep 3 guests. The 3rd bed is a chair bed so is suitable for a child or a small body adult Standard Studio with Sea View that can sleep 2 guests Standard Double or Twin Room with Garden View that can sleep 2 guests Double or Twin Room with Mountain View that can sleep 2 guests All rooms have fully equipped kitchens, refrigerator, oven, microwave as well as heating and air-conditioning, satelite TV, safe deposit box and spacious and furnitured balconies (8 out of 10 with sea view). All rooms and common areas has free wireless Internet (WiFi) access.
