The Hen House is a separate annexe in a 200 year old converted barn, with its own entrance and garden. Nestled in a small village at the foot of the South Downs and just a five minute drive from the sea, it's a lovely spot from which to explore everything that this beautiful part of West Sussex has to offer. It is close to Goodwood for motor events and horse racing, West Wittering Beach and the cathedral city of Chichester. There's also a good choice of country pubs and restaurants locally, including a pub in the village within walking distance.

The Hen House is a ten minute drive to Goodwood - famous for its Festival of Speed and Revival events, as well as horse racing throughout the Summer. The beautiful village of Bosham is five minutes away and visitors have the whole of Chichester Harbour to explore - either walking the coastal paths, sailing, paddleboarding or kayaking. The village of East Ashling is close to Kingley Vale - Europe's largest and oldest yew woodland. Portsmouth is a twenty minute drive away, where visitors can see HMS Victory and the Mary Rose. Whilst in Fishbourne there is the Roman Palace and just ten minutes away, there's the Weald and Downland Museum where ancient houses have been meticulously reconstructed. Arundel Castle is also only a short drive away.
