The en suite rooms at Somerton Lodge each have a TV, a hairdryer and tea/coffee facilities. A generous cooked breakfast is served in the spacious dining room at Somerton Lodge. On the Isle of Wight, the lodge is a 10-minute walk from the cliff top, where you can take a lift down to the Esplanade. Shanklin’s shops and restaurants are a short walk away.

We love to share our hotel with like minded people who want a destination that is alcohol free and is easy to relax in and just be yourself.

Property information

Our alcohol free lodge is a beautiful B&B with style, just the place for a relaxing stress free break. This quiet setting is far enough away from the town to escape the hustle and bustle but close enough to easily walk in and enjoy all that Shanklin has to offer.

Neighbourhood information

The Isle of Wight has fantastic beaches and incredible history. From queen Victoria’s summer palace to one of the leading sailing centres of the world there is much on offer. Fancy adopting a donkey or a ride on a steam train, there’s lots to do and plenty to see. Not forgetting, of course, the world famous needles - famous for its coloured sands, incredible views and World War Two gun emplacements.
