Merton Place is a newly refurbished Historic Southsea Apartment. Located in the heart of a historic conservation area known as “Owen’s Southsea”, this ground floor flat is the perfect stylish haven to relax in whilst staying a stone’s throw away from both the bustling Southsea scene and the historic seafront. The flat has a fully equipped kitchen for all your needs, opening out into a spacious living room which includes a large four-seat dining table and a brand new smart TV. The entire property is fitted with ultra-fast fibre optic WiFi, ideal for working, browsing, gaming or just searching Netflix for that elusive box set… The master bedroom hosts a king-sized bed fitted with an extra-deep luxury mattress, as well as extensive clothing storage in the form of built-in wardrobes. No need to pack light! For guests who may need to work, there is the dining table as well as a large desk in the bedroom, both with multiple nearby power outlets to provide ample working facilities. The apartment also boasts its very own private off-road parking space - a rare find in the heart of Southsea, meaning you can stay at Merton Place without fear of a parking ticket!
Merton Place is a ground floor apartment in Southsea, the Building originally started life in around 1910 as a purpose built hotel. In 2005 the property was converted into apartments and in 2024 my apartment went through a top to bottom refurbishment, fully managed by me to ensure a high quality outcome and carefully considered design choices, using my personal art collection to decorate the walls of the property. I live in Portsmouth, around 5 minutes from the property and so I can always be easily contacted if needed.
Merton Place, Southsea, is ideally situated in a vibrant coastal area with a range of local attractions and amenities nearby. Southsea Beach is just a half a mile away, offering a beautiful stretch of seafront with stunning views across the Solent and plenty of activities, from beachfront cafes to water sports. For easy access to transport links, Fratton Railway Station is the closest, only 1 mile from the property, providing direct trains to London and further connections to the rest of the UK.
