Property information

After 8 months of renovation, this property has been completely transformed and we are proud to share with you our beautiful house with 5 themed pods, all newly finished and stylishly decorated. We wanted to reflect the vibe of Southsea and its location by the sea and significant maritime history. Portsmouth and Southsea now has a thriving university, a strong commercial base and many cultural events and activities throughout the year and as such attracts visitors both from home and from all over the world, be it domestic and foreign students and also parents visiting their children at university here, people visiting for business or tourists attending events . Consequently we wanted our building to reflect the diverse and international mix of visitors we receive and therefore themed each pod with a specific continent in mind. So far this has been a great success and we hope you like it too!

Neighbourhood information

Our property is located near Albert Road and has an interesting mix of shops, restaurants and pubs. The area has been described as "exciting, Bohemian, contemporary, highly diverse and unique to Portsmouth." At the heart of Albert Road is the Kings Theatre. The Kings which opened in September 1907, was designed by the highly respected theatre architect Frank Matcham and is described as one of the best examples of Edwardian playhouse to be found in the British Isles. As well as the eclectic mix of shops and pubs on Albert Road, there is also a lovely traditional English pub, just several doors away, called the Lawrence Arms (see pictures).
