“The closeness to the town centre and minister. The fact that even though it was close to a busy road it was surprisingly quiet. It was a well equipped room with everything I needed . There was even an ironing board and iron in the shared area.”

In-Town a Georgian build, located 60 seconds walk from the York City walls, with just 2 minutes walk to the Ancient York Minster Cathedral. Enjoy this elegant house with its high ceilings and fresh décor. Enjoy a cream tea at the infamous Betty’s Tea Room Located in bohemian Gillygate a lively street full of independent shops bars and cafes. Plenty of breakfast options available on Gillygate just a stone throw away for as little as a fiver. Being in the city centre means all attractions are around within walking distance. Be dazzled by the wonderful and weird street performers, stroll down the famous cobbled paths, wander the historic Roman walls then relax in one of the many cafes and bars or check out some of the many shops. The property is in the EPI centre No transport required once checked in to explore We have no parking facilities Many public parks nearby
I do hope you enjoy your stay in our quaint abode in the city centre of beautiful York We do not provide individual toiletries as we care about the environment I’m happy to offer this central location for you to explore my unique home town of York I personally enjoy travelling, walking my dog) No PARKING
Gillygate is at the pulse of York no need for a taxi A five minute stroll to The Fat Badger, Guy Fawkes, Star in the city on Lendal fridge Eateries lunch time we have much acclaimed Ivy Gillygate itself a French bistro,a classic Italian restaurant Along with many independent shops Gillygate a very ambient street The property itself is a tall Victorian terrace with a number of stairs and steps to enter the rooms(may not be suitable for those with walking difficulties) There is no parking facilities. However, we are close to a few public car parks We cannot facilitate special requests for birthdays anniversaries etc
