Property information
A 400 year old inn with 13 charming rooms, all different. Poet William Wordsworth lived next door, and many TV programmes and films have been filmed locally. There are excellent walks from the doorstep, and sightseeing tours are available.
Neighbourhood information
The hotel is surrounded by England's most beautiful scenery, with a lake 100 metres away and mountains and woodland all around. The local town, Ambleside, is just 2km away and has a good selection of restaurants, shops and cinemas. This area is very popular for outdoor activities such as hiking and mountain biking. There are lots of family attractions close by. This is a very low crime area.
