Hi, we’re Majella and Andy and we split our time between Chelmsford, Essex and Ventnor, Isle of Wight. We love long walks in the country and by the coast with our two dogs, Lola and Frankie. We also love classic triumph cars and belong to the island triumph club. Andy loves sailing and has recently sailed around the island non stop in his little Dart 15 catamaran. Eating out and socialising is another of our pastimes which is why we love Ventnor and it’s many fantastic restaurants and pubs! We have 2 grown up children who live in London and who love to come to visit us in Ventnor as they have fantastic cherished memories of our summer holidays here staying with their Nanny and Grandad. All questions and communication before and during your stay will be dealt by ourselves and all emergency contact details are in the property folder in the maisonette.

You are so close to everything, the beach is less than a 5 minute walk with its Haven and Seafront Bars and Restaurants. The town also has a good choice of shops, bars and restaurants. Just be aware that Ventnor is an old Victorian seaside resort and there are a few hills so take your time. You’re also only a 5 minute walk to our favourite pub, the Crab and Lobster Tap. Dave and Di will always provide a warm welcome. You can park outside the house in the free car park opposite on Dudley Rd or Dudley Rd itself or in Wheelers Bay, a 5 min walk. But should you wish to leave your car at home Ventnor is a walkers and cyclists paradise with coastal, hill or countryside routes. All with spectacular views of the beautiful and unique South Wight area. There is rarely a shortage of things to do in the town but should you wish to travel further afield there is a bus stop outside Boots whilst bus routes and timetables can also be found in the property manual. Taxis are available but do not run late at night so make sure you book for your return home. Please note there is no garden just a small entrance courtyard.
