This traditional fisher’s house, fully renovated in 2022, is at the center of Grandcamp-Maisy, a few steps away from the beach, harbor, shops, and restaurants. The four-story house includes a living room with a sofa bed and television at the ground floor, a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom at the second floor. The bedroom at the third floor has a queen bed and the bedroom at the fourth floor has two single beds. The spiral staircase that connects all levels might not be suitable for little children.
We are a French-Vietnamese couple who moved to Atlanta in 2006 with 4 kids who are now all grown up kids. As empty nesters and early retirees in our fifties, we love travelling around the world to discover new places and meet new people.
The seaside village of Grandcamp-Maisy is ideally located to visit Omaha Beach, La Pointe du Hoc, and the American Cemetery. By car, the medieval city of Bayeux is 25 minutes away, and the Mont-Saint-Michel is 1h30 away.
