The square features various architectural styles and the famous astronomical clock – Orloj which was fist installed in 1410. At Christmas and Easter, markets are held on the Old town square; they resemble medieval markets. The Christmas markets held in the Old town square are the largest Christmas markets in the whole of Czech republic. The Old town square is located between the Wenceslas square and the Charles bridge.
