I'm Don and way back I had this idea of buying some building in the Pietermaai area. We started 8 years ago after buying a building in the Pietermaai District, within the World Heritage Site of Willemstad Curacao, with ocean front. My wife, Noemie, is an Architect with a vast experience in restoration of monumental buildings. We decided to restore the building with four apartments fully equipped to offer our guests a place to stay in a historical neighborhood with all amenities to have them feel like home. We are dedicated to give our guest the best stay by personally taking care of them. We are always ready to help you out with any questions or concerns you may have. We love hosting, because we love meeting people of other places and share our place with them. We speak four languages, English , Dutch , Spanish and Papiamentu, making communication very easy for our guests.

Our complex exists of 4 apartments 3 of them are oceanfront. These 1 or 2 bedroom apartments consists of a bathroom a kitchen a living room area and a balcony / terrace. They all have AC in the bedrooms, a good internet connection with WIFI and Cable TV, warm water shower, stovetop, microwave, coffeemaker, toaster, refrigerator, washer and a safe. The apartments are decorated with a tropical touch. Each apartment has it's own entrance and privacy. You will feel like home. In the backyard or in front of your doorstep you can plunge into our tidal pool for a swim or snorkeling. Sunrises and sunsets will delight you and the relaxing sound of the sea will give you the proper vacation feeling. From the apartment it's a five minute walk to downtown. In the neighborhood, on walking distance, are different cozy bars and nice restaurants. So there is no stressing at all with a lot to do in the neighborhood. Ten minutes ride by car, to the east, you will find Mambo Beach, the Boulevard, the Sea Aquarium and the Dolphin academy. For the most beautiful beaches, you have to cross the bridge to the west. Curacao is known for its secluded beaches, each one with its own character. Downtown Willemstad, a UNESCO world heritage site, offers breathtaking views of alleys with colored buildings, shops, museums, art-galleries, cozy bars, restaurants, souvenirs shop with locally made items, markets, different kind of bridges like the one called the Swinging lady, important government buildings like the Governors palace, forts and expression of art everywhere. The two main busstations are located in Downtown Punda and Otrobanda, the two parts of Willemstad. There is so much to do for you on walking distance by staying at Dushi Pietermaai Apartments. From Dushi Pietermaai apartments, in Pietermaai small, it's a 10 minutes walk to downtown Punda and Otrobanda with its unique floating pontoon bridge, 'The Swinging Old Lady,' Dutch-influenced architecture.
